In traditional rubber molding the removal of excess waste, or sprues, can be time consuming and slow down the number of cycles in this process. Nolar Industries supplies specialized nonwovens that have a high resistance to heat to increase the efficiency of the aforementioned process. Our fabrics are commonly used in transfer, compression, and injection molding. Furthermore, our fabrics work for a variety of rubber types including silicone, SBR, neoprene, or nitrile. They are available in continuous rolls, as well as perforated roll form to reduce material consumption.

Nonwoven Advantages:

  • Increase cycles per 8-hour shift

  • Reduces pad thickness in transfer molding

  • Do not have to purge system at each cycle when using nonwoven material

  • Prevents plugging of mold vents
